Peace - My topic for declamation

hi.At school, we were told to prepare a 2 mins speech on the topic ' peace'. With my parents help, this is what i said.Let me know what you think. dad said that we should not use fancy language and explain in simple way so that kids of our age really understand what it means.He says it is important that we are able to understand it and discuss it so that we never forget it.So here it is:

Everyday the newspapers and TV channels are filled with stories of voilence, bombings and killings. One day i asked my mom who these people are- are they the bad people of this world.Mom said there is no such thing as bad people. These are good people who make bad decisions.And what are these bad decisions that make them hurt others. The bad decisions are wanting more power, wanting what belongs to others, wanting to tell others that they are wrong.

Like astronauts, when we common people go on the moon, we will be able to see the earth from god's eyes , as one complete thing.We will not see divisions of rich and poor, hindu and muslim, right and wrong because god has not made those divisions. We people have made them. Why can't we realise it now and stop this violence now. If we wait till we go on the moon, won't it be late?

Like in the movie Munnabhai, sanjay dutt gives flowers to anyone who is sick.Same way i will give flowers to these people and ask them to get well soon. I will wish that they find peace within their hearts and enough love to love others who are different from them.Because when our hearts are filled with love and care for others, the world will be filled with peace.

Sid the superhero in his cool powerful mobile

The monsters that attack the humans are my enemies. I am the master of mobile and I will control it with its many powerful gadgets to defeat and kill the monsters.

Command Center
1.Cube 3 -Computer command center – the attacks will be given to the mobile on this powerful thin computer to activate the gadgets. Computer kya cheez hai na !!

2.I will be sitting safely inside a robot shield and will control all the gadgets from there.

Finding monsters
1. Robot shield, inside which I sit, is very special because it can detect invisible giants with special red blinking eyes and also have pause button for giants with very high speed whom I cannot see from within the robot shield. It also takes a photo of these invisible and high speed monsters to increase my knowledge for future fights.

2.Rotating telescope- At the top, a rotating telescope will help me find monsters hiding to attack me.

Protecting my mobile
Glass shield- On the left of the robot shield, there is a red button which will cover the robot shield with an unbreakable glass in case of powerful blasts by enemy monsters.
Footprint lock & key- On the right side of the robot shield is a footprint lock and key. What it means is that only I can start this mobile and not the enemies as it understands only my footprint. Once I place my bare foot on it, it opens the invisible cover around the entire mobile.
Laser shock with fire- If still some very powerful monster tries to break the invisible shield, the laser shield gets activated and is so powerful that it throws the monster far far away.
Energy Tube- The laser chip which kills the monster also absorbs the remaining energy from the monster, puts that energy in the wire which transfers it into good power and then it is absorbed in the mobile as its petrol.
Smoke Portal- If a very powerful monster comes very near my mobile and I am in danger, this control will release smoke and open the portal to a safe dimension.
Lightening speed boosters – If too many powerful monsters I see coming my way, this control when activated will give my mobile such lightening speed that monsters will not even know where I went.

Making monsters good
Mind control hypnotizer- This control, when it sees a monster tries to hypnotize it and control its mind to become good and come on my side.
Dimension vacuum-The monsters which do not have good remaining in them and have become really bad will be sucked into the dimension vacuum as the world does not need bad guys.

Attack from everywhere-
Acid smoke attack- When monsters try to attack from behind, I will activate this control which will release acid smoke on them and blind them for some time.
Scorpio stings- When monsters try to attack from the sides, I will activate this control which is shaped in form of scorpio and which also stings like scorpio.
Mirror*50 - When monsters come from front, I will activate this control which is a cuboids shape thing in front of the mobile which will attack the enemy in the own style, but 50 time more powerful.
Tornado energy diamond blaster- When monsters come from all sides, I will activate this control which is a red diamod shape and which will create a tornado all around the mobile and not allow the monsters to come near it.
Gun & laser attack- the gun kills the monster and also throws a white laser chip at the monster like a frogs tongue which sticks on the monsters neck, collects all its data and comes back to the computer with all the information on the monster species. The chip automatically fits the computer and knows that if that species of monster comes again for a fight, how to kill it easily.

Help from friends-
Ground attack- copter saver- If all the monsters come at once and I am in danger, this round copter at the bottom of the mobile will fly my mobile up in the sky where monsters cannot reach me. I will then call my friends for help through the friend’s signal.
Friend’s signal- A control in my computer will send a message to my friend’s computers that I need their help in fighting with the monsters through a secret code.
Friends response hologram- When my friends come to help me , they will flash their hologram. This will confirm that they are really my friends and not some monsters in disguise of my friends.

funday sunday

Sunday was a family picnic in a mall.dad says that their picnics used to be in parks with family and friends but now the mall is the new park for us kids. I did my favorite bungee jumping which i have become quite good at.The first time i went for it, i was up in the air 2 floors and felt something odd in my stomach and i was really scared.But now i have become a champ in it. i keep telling my friends how it is only scary the first time.Mom says i have learnt a good lesson to try out new things and that they seem difficult only the first time round.

Lunch was sizzlers and fried fish with lots of french fries.I love french fries very very much as so does my dad so i eat them really really fast.Mom also loves them but thank god i quickly reminded her of her new year resolution of losing weight because of which she did not attack them.She had some coke though.But my younger brother , who is only 18 months old had french fries with garlic sauce...we joke around that he loves seefood...whatever he sees , he eats..ha ha ha ...i love my brother very much but he really eats very fast for a 18 month old and he also has spicy food.Thanks to my brother i am also learning to eat little bit spicy food.

We then spent some time in a book store and though mom tried pulling me towards the books section i kept going towards the toys section.It was really really tough to get my parents to get me any toys because i had just got some for Christmas..but those were from Santa was my argument, which of course my dad was very furious at.I have been hearing from friends that actually the toys are from parents and santa only delivers them.Well i dont need to tell my parents that i know they spend for my toys, right? i mean i can put it on santa for a few more years atleast :) .But i think i will have to try some new strategy the next time.My brother kept throwing all the soft toys and my mom kept picking them up and still she was getting really ugly looks from the lady at the toy section.

By the time we left, it was raining and so so chilly.It was really beautiful.We came home, switched on the heater, got under our blankets and watched the new movie '3 idiots' on dvd.It was a great day out with family. I love my family although i don't always get what i want.

The dragon king

Long long ago before hundreds of years there lived many dragons in the dense jungles of nevaliya on the island of Meru.They were big scary creatures with touch thick skin, red eyes and fire coming from their mouth.Anything that they lay their eyes on went in their stomach right away.On that island was also a huge palace that belonged to the mighty king named Bruce.He was a very kind and brave king and he always protected the people and animals of his kingdom from any kind of danger.He had built a strong army of brave men to fight the enemies.But the army was of no use in front of the strong dragons who would come every day and destroy everything in their way and take away several men each day from the kingdom to eat.

The king was getting worried as his people were scared of the dragons coming everyday .The king bruce was not only strong but he was very intellegent also.He understood that his brave men could not fight the huge dragon.So he sent a messenger bird to the king of dragons Muna.In the message , King Bruce promised to give five men everyday to the dragons to eat , which he would send at the dragons home in the forests every morning before sunrise but asked in return for the dragons to stop entering his kingdom.

Muna, the dragon king was very evil and cunning.He agreed to the kings request by sending back the messenger bird.But infact he had something dirty cooking in his mind. The messenger bird gave the peace message to the king Bruce and the king although sad was also happy that atleast he could save some men everyday. The messenger birds in the kingdom were not simple birds but ones with great power to read the eyes of the people and animals. The bird looking into the dragon king muna's eyes had sensed something evil.

In the night, as the king Bruce went to sleep in his palace, the messenger bird flew into the king's room and whispered in his ears, "O mighty king, the dragon king Muna is going to betray you.You have to kill him to protect your people.But you can't fight him.His weakness is his navel." Hearing this, the king woke up from his sleep suddenly.At that very moment he decided that before Muna did something evil, he would have to kill him.

The next day , King Bruce himself went as one of the five men being offered as food to the dragons.Reaching before sunrise, he went in front of Muna, the dragon king and said, "O Mighty dragin king Muna, i come today as your food as i cannot see any of my innocent men die anymore.I accept my defeat.Please eat me". King Muna and the other dragons were very happy to hear that king had accepted defeat.Just as they were laughing loudly, king Bruce jumped on dragin king muna's tail and climbed swiftly to his head.He took his sword and quickly stabbed in Muna's eyes and he started bleeding red liquid.Seeing their king injured, the other dragons got very scared and started running here and there creating a lot of confusion.King Bruce then took his sword and kept it in between the dragin kind Muna's mouth and quickly slid down his throat and into his belly before tha dragon could start spitting fire.He took out his dagger and stabbed the navel from inside.As soon as this happened, Muna collapsed to the ground making loud crying noises and green sticky liquid coming out of his navel.Alongwith that liquid, out came king Bruce tearing the dragon's stomach .In an instant Muna died. Seeing their kings state, all the dragons who were hiding in the trees went flying away to far far away land.

King Bruce had saved his kingdom and his people from the dangerous dragons bravely and intellegently.
